Feel at home in yourself. Therapy for improving your self-esteem

Do you struggle with confidence?

Do you have obtrusive thoughts or suffer from social anxiety?

Or maybe you just have a sense that there is something wrong with you.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

If you struggle with self-doubt, shame, or never feeling good enough, therapy can help you rewrite the beliefs that are keeping you stuck. Whether your self-esteem struggles come from childhood, relationships, or a trauma, we’ll work together to help you feel more confident, at peace, and connected to who you truly are.

How I work (or what we’ll do in the therapy sessions)

I use a kind of therapy called Transactional Analysis (TA). In TA, we have simple models for talking about and understanding human behaviours. And although I will use metaphors from TA where helpful, my first job will be to listen to your story. Some clients like me to take a more active role in asking questions, which is totally fine. We’ll work together to uncover the messages you told yourself as a child that are still impacting you today.

The key to effective therapy is in a good relationship between the therapist and the client. I try to meet each client where they are at, to ensure you feel safe and seen as we work together for real change.
